Livistona muelleri

This slow growing, fan-leaved palm is indigenous to NE Queensland, Australia and southern New Guinea always at lower elevations. They can grow up to 30 feet, but are normally shorter, covered with persistent petioles. Its visually attractive red branched inflorescences are shorter than its dark grayish green leaves. its elliptical, deep brown to black fruits are one-half inch long.
