Evergreen flowering tree to 20′. Foliage bipinnately compound, leaflets in 4 pairs; flowers vaguely trumpet-shaped, yellow, with an orange-streaked standard; pod 1-2″ long,
dark brown, indehiscent. Bark fairly smooth, mottled bluish gray and cream.
